Rome 2 Total War (DX9) - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
- Shadows
- Lights
- Fog
- Smoke
- Fire
- Water
- Floaty 2D ground textures
- Put HUD at depth so markers align better with objects

Issues
- This is a fix for the DirectX9 version of the game only.
- The mouse cursor is still at screen depth.  However, everything in game gets highlighted so there is no issue selecting stuff.
- There are some remaining anomalies - some puffs of smoke, the odd light here and there.  I will fix these as I come to them (assuming I can), but I don't believe there is anything major.

Summary
Game looks like crap out the box, in both DX11 and DX9, pretty much everything is wrong to some degree.
Once patched up though it looks as good as Napolean Total War.

Installation
Steps:
1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II
2. Run the game.

Painkiller Hell and Damnation [Painkiller HD] 3D vision fix

Painkiller Hell and Damnation [Painkiller HD]
By Helix / Eqzitara

TBH, I didn't plan to do this one but alot of the work was done from working on a patch for Deadfall. I really liked Painkiller original / Black and didn't feel it really needed to be remade but that's me. I pretty much recommend this game only if you haven't played those two unless you want coop/feeling nostalgic. The crosshair is dynamic but I highly recommend either making it the small circle[pictured above] or disabling all together

This was only tested for first few levels. If you run into issues let me know.

Recommended Settings:
85-90 FOV[The higher the FOV you go the more your weapons will seem off]
Can change crosshairs

Required Settings:
Goto... C:\users\...\Documents\my games\Painkiller Hell and Damnation\PKHDGame\Config\PKHDEngine.ini
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False
to
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True

Install to..\Painkiller Hell and Damnation\Binaries\Win32\

Check vs Mate / Battle vs Chess - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
- Fog
- Smoke
- Light halos
- Presets to toggle hud depth ("0"), toggle hud on and off ("9").  The "0" preset is not 'fixed' depth, but still adjusts with convergence, so it maintains a constant depth relative to the chess board.

Issues
- The mouse cursor is still at screen depth.  However, everything in game gets highlighted so there is no issue selecting stuff.

Summary
Game looks pretty good out the box, but after a few minutes its clear that a few things are not quite right, with some haloing, and slightly different left-right eye views.  I address these.
The game itself is a chess game, but with several other modes of play that attempt to make it more fun, whereby your chess pieces battle for a square in little mini-fights, either QTE based or manual fight based.  I don't like either of them, and play chess in "skirmish" mode.  The chess pieces are all fully animated characters, but you can also show traditional style pieces (by pressing TAB) or have a top down view with the 2D piece representation (by pressing F).

Presets:
I provide a few keys to deal with the hud:
- Key "0": cycles between two depths.  The first depth has the hud at the same depth as the front of the chess board when zoomed in (using wheel mouse).  This also adjusts correctly as you change convergence.  The second depth is set to be at about the same level as your character when you are in the "battle mode" games, and this ensures that health markers are approximately in the correct place over the pieces.
- Key "9": toggles the HUD on and off.  Be aware that I do not anything sophisticated with texture selection, so if the screen goes "white" at any point (for example exiting a game), press "9" again to show the hud
- Key "ESC": to counter the above issue, if "ESC" is pressed this always toggles the hud back on.  So if in doubt why nothing is on the screen anymore, press "ESC".

Installation
Steps:
1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Check vs Mate
2. Run the game.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified [DX9] NEW VERSION [Update 12/16]

 [Mini-map issue in video preview was resolved]
PHOTO ALBUM
Update 2: Added new version for people having issues with crosshair
Update: Fixed remaining visual issues[shadows/effects]/Made changes to hud elements
Tested on All DLC || Tested on SLI/non-SLI
Optional: Press: F3 to change hud depth
Issues Remaining: Some minor issue on some menu screen/hud related.

I can't stress this enough, this game is amazing in 3D and is actually my second favorite 3D game I played this year. When it first came out I gave it a hard time because I am a huge XCOM fan and I really didn't give it a chance. Anywho, I picked it up again three months later and its just one of those games that 3D totally transformed for me and I decided to revise patch completely. Its kind of my fault that people may not try this game but if anyone tries this game out and likes this patch please let others know. I really think its a gem in 3D.

Required
Go to..\The Bureau\XGame\Config\Xengine.ini
Change
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False
To
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True

In-game settings

Final Exam

High Convergence Locked
Low Convergence Locked
 Update:
Added a lower convergence build.[Not sure why I find this so fascinating lol]

Fixed: Lensflares, Scaling Hud [Explained]
Removed: Player Tag [Hud related]
Patch is convergence locked

I had kind of an interesting idea a few months ago I been meaning to test out. I redid the 2D hud completely so that it scales according to position on screen which will make it extremely accurate since the game is side scroller. Patch now offers two different convergence locked options.[This has to do with the hud]

XCOM: Enemy Unknown / Within - 3D vision fix

XCOM: Enemy Unknown / Within - 3D vision fix.

Update New:
Tested on Enemy Within
Fixed water/alien shielding on stages

Update Prior
- fixed freezes when minimize game;
- on-screen effects (like lens flares) moved deeper(you can always on/off them by  N/M - keys );

Fixed:
- Light effects;
- Shadows;
- Fog of War;
- effects Halos;
- HUD;

Remaining issues:
Mouse pointer still 2D.
Can't fix this one.

This is not usual fix.

This fix implements new scripting  feature (for test !) and fix all shaders by script template automatically !
That means there can be some broken effects(let me know in comments if you find some), but I'm almost sure it fixes almost everything.

Instructions:
Download this archive. Unpack downloaded archive in to the game folder
Example Enemy Unknown : "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\Binaries\Win32"
Example Enemy Within : "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\Binaries\Win32"
When you run the game the fix will search in the game shaders and will fix them automatically and this can take some time.

I/O/P - keys switch HUD depth and on-screen effects (like lens flares).

J/K - switch convergence/separation settings .

If you want to save your custom convergence settings press J(or K) set custom settings , then press F7 and your settings will be saved in the config file. You can set custom settings for both profiles (J/K keys).

 N/M - keys turns On/Off  on-screen effects (like lens flares) - for people who don't like disco 80-x :)

Tested only with steam version of the game. I'm using default game profile from 306.97 display driver.
You need at least R300 driver series to run this version of the fix.

If  you can't get game work in 3D - open "Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\Config\XComEngine.ini" file, serach for "AllowNvidiaStereo3d"  and replace it from "AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False" to "AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True".

If you want to move HUD deeper in the screen open DX9Settings.ini file, search for  " [Preset3] " and change
[Preset3]
Const1 = 0x3DCCCCCD

to

[Preset3]
Const1 =  0x3F666666

Press P during gameplay.
