Rome 2 Total War (DX9) - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
- Shadows
- Lights
- Fog
- Smoke
- Fire
- Water
- Floaty 2D ground textures
- Put HUD at depth so markers align better with objects

Issues
- This is a fix for the DirectX9 version of the game only.
- The mouse cursor is still at screen depth.  However, everything in game gets highlighted so there is no issue selecting stuff.
- There are some remaining anomalies - some puffs of smoke, the odd light here and there.  I will fix these as I come to them (assuming I can), but I don't believe there is anything major.

Images

Summary
Game looks like crap out the box, in both DX11 and DX9, pretty much everything is wrong to some degree.
Once patched up though it looks as good as Napolean Total War.

Installation
Steps:
1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II
2. Run the game.

Painkiller Hell and Damnation [Painkiller HD] 3D vision fix

Painkiller Hell and Damnation [Painkiller HD]
By Helix / Eqzitara

TBH, I didn't plan to do this one but alot of the work was done from working on a patch for Deadfall. I really liked Painkiller original / Black and didn't feel it really needed to be remade but that's me. I pretty much recommend this game only if you haven't played those two unless you want coop/feeling nostalgic. The crosshair is dynamic but I highly recommend either making it the small circle[pictured above] or disabling all together

This was only tested for first few levels. If you run into issues let me know.

Recommended Settings:
85-90 FOV[The higher the FOV you go the more your weapons will seem off]
Can change crosshairs

Check vs Mate / Battle vs Chess - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
- Fog
- Smoke
- Light halos
- Presets to toggle hud depth ("0"), toggle hud on and off ("9").  The "0" preset is not 'fixed' depth, but still adjusts with convergence, so it maintains a constant depth relative to the chess board.

Issues
- The mouse cursor is still at screen depth.  However, everything in game gets highlighted so there is no issue selecting stuff.

Images

Summary
Game looks pretty good out the box, but after a few minutes its clear that a few things are not quite right, with some haloing, and slightly different left-right eye views.  I address these.
The game itself is a chess game, but with several other modes of play that attempt to make it more fun, whereby your chess pieces battle for a square in little mini-fights, either QTE based or manual fight based.  I don't like either of them, and play chess in "skirmish" mode.  The chess pieces are all fully animated characters, but you can also show traditional style pieces (by pressing TAB) or have a top down view with the 2D piece representation (by pressing F).

Presets:
I provide a few keys to deal with the hud:
- Key "0": cycles between two depths.  The first depth has the hud at the same depth as the front of the chess board when zoomed in (using wheel mouse).  This also adjusts correctly as you change convergence.  The second depth is set to be at about the same level as your character when you are in the "battle mode" games, and this ensures that health markers are approximately in the correct place over the pieces.
- Key "9": toggles the HUD on and off.  Be aware that I do not anything sophisticated with texture selection, so if the screen goes "white" at any point (for example exiting a game), press "9" again to show the hud
- Key "ESC": to counter the above issue, if "ESC" is pressed this always toggles the hud back on.  So if in doubt why nothing is on the screen anymore, press "ESC".

Installation
Steps:
1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Check vs Mate
2. Run the game.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified [DX9] NEW VERSION [Update 12/16]

[Mini-map issue in video preview was resolved]

Update 2: Added new version for people having issues with crosshair
Update: Fixed remaining visual issues[shadows/effects]/Made changes to hud elements
Tested on All DLC || Tested on SLI/non-SLI
Optional: Press: F3 to change hud depth
Issues Remaining: Some minor issue on some menu screen/hud related.

I can't stress this enough, this game is amazing in 3D and is actually my second favorite 3D game I played this year. When it first came out I gave it a hard time because I am a huge XCOM fan and I really didn't give it a chance. Anywho, I picked it up again three months later and its just one of those games that 3D totally transformed for me and I decided to revise patch completely. Its kind of my fault that people may not try this game but if anyone tries this game out and likes this patch please let others know. I really think its a gem in 3D.

High Convergence Locked
Low Convergence Locked
 Update:
Added a lower convergence build.[Not sure why I find this so fascinating lol]

Fixed: Lensflares, Scaling Hud [Explained]
Removed: Player Tag [Hud related]
Patch is convergence locked

I had kind of an interesting idea a few months ago I been meaning to test out. I redid the 2D hud completely so that it scales according to position on screen which will make it extremely accurate since the game is side scroller. Patch now offers two different convergence locked options.[This has to do with the hud]

XCOM: Enemy Unknown / Within - 3D vision fix

XCOM: Enemy Unknown / Within - 3D vision fix.

Update New:
Tested on Enemy Within
Fixed water/alien shielding on stages

Update Prior
- fixed freezes when minimize game;
- on-screen effects (like lens flares) moved deeper(you can always on/off them by  N/M - keys );

Fixed:
- Light effects;
- Shadows;
- Fog of War;
- effects Halos;
- HUD;

Remaining issues:
Mouse pointer still 2D.
Can't fix this one.

This is not usual fix.

This fix implements new scripting  feature (for test !) and fix all shaders by script template automatically !
That means there can be some broken effects(let me know in comments if you find some), but I'm almost sure it fixes almost everything.

Instructions:
Download this archive. Unpack downloaded archive in to the game folder
Example Enemy Unknown : "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\Binaries\Win32"
Example Enemy Within : "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\Binaries\Win32"
When you run the game the fix will search in the game shaders and will fix them automatically and this can take some time.

I/O/P - keys switch HUD depth and on-screen effects (like lens flares).

J/K - switch convergence/separation settings .

If you want to save your custom convergence settings press J(or K) set custom settings , then press F7 and your settings will be saved in the config file. You can set custom settings for both profiles (J/K keys).

 N/M - keys turns On/Off  on-screen effects (like lens flares) - for people who don't like disco 80-x :)

Tested only with steam version of the game. I'm using default game profile from 306.97 display driver.
You need at least R300 driver series to run this version of the fix.

If  you can't get game work in 3D - open "Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\Config\XComEngine.ini" file, serach for "AllowNvidiaStereo3d"  and replace it from "AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False" to "AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True".

If you want to move HUD deeper in the screen open DX9Settings.ini file, search for  " [Preset3] " and change
[Preset3]
Const1 = 0x3DCCCCCD

to

[Preset3]
Const1 =  0x3F666666

Press P during gameplay.

X-Rebirth - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed - Current version v3.4
- Can now change convergence to higher values and the cockpit remains in place
- Provided two hotkey settings (key "9") for convergence (outside the cockpit)
- Provided Toggle (key "0") to show and hide cockpit - this allows even higher convergence and is nice to fly around and look at the universe unimpeded.
- Added extra toggle key (key "8") to enable or disable the hud fixes so it does not affect walking around when landed
- Added toggle key "7" to toggle the hud (markers etc) on and off when the cockpit has been disabled for a completely 'clean' screen.  Also turns off the round cross-hair.  Does *not* turn off the mouse cursor.
- Provided a separate depth setting for markers and info icons.
- Provided a fix for SLI users that may be experiencing lighting rendering issues (yellow environmental lighting that is turned on with medium or high shaders)

v3.4
- Added toggle key "7" to toggle the hud (markers etc) on and off when the cockpit has been disabled for a completely 'clean' screen.  Also turns off the round cross-hair.  Does *not* turn off the mouse cursor.

v3.3
- Extended the key "8" to make the markers and icons a bit closer for when walking around, and also set the convergence back to a low value so it's tolerable (in case a high value had been used for flying around and was forgotten about).

v3.2
- Fixed loading screen issue
- Fixed minor issue where planet texture was missing when toggling the cockpit off...
- Fixed the defaults for 'fix on/off' and 'cockpit toggle on/off' to be 'on' and 'off' respectively.

Notes
** Walking around on stations - you need to use the low convergence (0.602) toggle, or press the "8" key to disable the cockpit fix.
** It seems the issue with the Mouselook has come back when landing at stations.  I've tried lots of DLLs but they all have the same issue.  The one that fixed it in v2 prevents the hotkeys from working for the cockpit.  It works with keyboard and controller.

- I provide separate installers for the SLI fix and no-SLI fix.
- The approach to 'lock down' the cockpit currently has it fixed and 0.602-ish.  This puts the cockpit steering wheel thing just out of screen depth.  I did not provide a toggle to change this to higher depth.
- I was unable to separate dialog text from other text in the game.  Sorry.
- Menus are currently still at depth.  For whatever reason I can't seem to isolate the textures for the info icons or the menus...
- Using the key "8" toggle can get confusing if used in conjunction with keys "9" for changing separation, and key "0" for toggling the cockpit view on and off, since it disables both operations of correcting convergence and toggling the cockpit.

Outstanding
- The mouse cursor is still at screen depth.  I am looking at this, and if it can be fixed I will do so.
- If anyone can work out why the mouselook is so flakey that would be great.  I noted on Egosoft forums that it seems to be an issue with the game even in 2D for some people, so I am going to wait until Egosoft have a fixed a few more bugs.

Injustice - Gods Among Us

Game has an issue where 2D cinematics render in one eye for some people. So you will have to turn off 3D for them if you have this issue.

To bypass game's "convergence lock" press F3 and adjust your settings and save with F7. Restart game and press F3 whenever you launch games and new settings will apply.
Much to my dismay the game's story mode is entirely 2D cutscenes. So only matches are 3D.
I was mostly able to separate out "finishers"/clashes/intros so it would use a low convergence value but its only like 95% reliable. It was mostly done as an experiment so don't expect it to be perfect in that regard.

Aliens vs Predator 2010 (DirectX9 Only) - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
- Shadows
- Lights
- Flashlight
- Character outline
- Water

**UPDATE 12/3/13
- Fixed more light and shadow issues
- Fixed some water issues

Notes
- Since I have only been through the early parts of the first level for each character type, there may be things missing, but I don't think there is much now (see below)
- You must launch the game in DIRECT X9 mode.

Outstanding
- Main thing is the 2d cross-hair.  There is no shader fix for this, but there are community mods to remove the crosshair by modding the games assets.
- Moon on Predator level, and skybox on Marine level is at wrong depth.
- There is one shader for a certain type of spotlight that I have only been able to partially fix, but the effect is minor compared to what it started as, and does not occur very often.

LEGO Batman 2 DC Superheroes - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Summary
Fixes the game to work with any convergence and separation.  The game by default not only locks convergence at much too high value, it ties it to separation adjustment.  Some of the default convergence settings in cut scenes require almost zero depth to be tolerable, and the convergence also changes dynamically quite a lot, so you can't change the settings on the fly very easily.  Unfortunately unlocking the convergence in this game completely breaks the games otherwise perfect 3D Vision rendering, requiring a full fix from scratch, which is what this is.
This fix uses a custom nvapi.dll to unlock the game (developed from Chiri's original), then helixmod to fix it.

Fixed
- All the double imaging and haloing
- Shadows
- Lights
- Water

Presets
There are 2 presets, F4 and F5.  F5 is a low convergence presets for cutscenes
You can change the convergence and depth for both presets as follows:
- press the preset key
- change convergence and separation
- press F7

Main outstanding issue is the HUD - unless convergence = 1, some parts of the hud get messed up by flickering in and out of different depths.

Notes:
To be done:
- Fix hud so its all at same depth
- The targeting reticule is at screen depth, if I can I might see if that can be made dynamic.
- I plan on adding dynamic convergence for the cutscenes.

** Update 12/8/13
1. New method for unlocking the convergence is used which allows presets to work properly as in other helix-modded games.

**Update 11/30/13 v2
1. Fixed a few more 'water' rendering issues as I found them, as well as a couple of special effects.
2. Partial solution to provide 2 presets:
a. When the game starts press "0" to set the convergence to "1".  This will make all hud elements render correctly and looks pretty good for gameplay as well
b. Pressing "9" will change the convergence to whatever the default setting is for the game.  For me this always seems to be stuck at "4".  If you change this to something else, and then you toggle between "0" and "9" it will be remembered each time you press "9".  I use this key to set a low convergence for cutscenes - I go into the map view and reduce convergence until the map looks good (either at screen depth or deeper into screen) and then when cut scenes come on I can press "9" again to set that lower convergence value, and then when the cutscene is over press "0" to have the higher convergence for gameplay.

Installation
Steps:
1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\LEGO Batman 2.
2. Run the game.

Old Versions
v1:  Extract this zip file to the games exe directory

**UPDATE v2 - Changes the approach to unlocking convergence to that the game exe no longer needs to be edited.

Adds:
- Dynamic convergence (provided by eqzitara).

Notes:
- TURN OFF MOTION BLUR if you get polygon flickering.
- The targeting reticule is at screen depth, if I can I might see if that can be made dynamic.
- The two convergence settings provided (0.2 and 1.0) can be changed by pressing the F4 and F5 keys, changing settings then pressing F7 and they will be saved.

VIDEO PREVIEW OF GAME AT 3DSOLUTIONGAMING.COM

Update
Should work for all users now, optional change depth of dot matrix screen.

Fixed:
Reflections, Hud
Optional:
Press O to change depth of DOT MATRIX SCREEN
Can save [2] different depth/convergence settings to U. Must use xpadder/joy2key for controller.

I kind of recommend turning off reflections but Ill leave that up to you. Im not sure if its the angle or what but they are distracting. Can save 2 different depth/convergence settings which really helps out for the intros. Don't forget to check the games options screen, it surprisingly has some good anti-aliasing.

REQUIRED INSTRUCTIONS
-Dot matrix screen MUST be set to Top-Left[Default]
-Dot matrix screen size MUST be Medium[Default]

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 Full Burst

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 Full Burst

Fixed: Screen related issues, reduced depth of snowfall, seperate settings for cinematic/gameplay
Removed: Some Depth of field effects

Game is capped at 30 fps [Was kind of expected and doesn't feel too unnatural with this type of game]
I haven't really watched/played anything anime related in like 8+ years. Seems top notch in comparison to anime games but I quickly realized I am done with genre not to mention I had little idea what what was going on so I grew bored. So this was only tested for like an hour of gameplay [combat was tested pretty well].

Game should automatically adjust for combat/exploration/cinematic. Does not trigger during Nine Tails battle [Tutorial].
Can save your own custom setting for combat/exploration by clicking F4 followed by adjusting your depth/convergence then saving with F7.
You will have to restart game once for new setting to apply.

A video is available on SolutionGaming.com here: http://www.3dsolutiongaming.com/2013/07/divinity-2-developers-cut/ .

Installation
1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity2_dev_cut.
2. Play.

NOTE One thing I noticed is that sometimes you go to a level and it looks wrong, especially water - Alt-Tab out of game and back into game fixes it.  Some games are just like this I guess...

Version History
** UPDATE 10-29-2013 Indoor Shadows are now perfect: Latest files are v8
1. This is now a perfect fix.  One knock on effect that I found with watery reflections on a ceiling in a cave, that no longer move around.

** UPDATE 8-23-2013 Indoor Shadows corrected: Latest files are v7.1
1. Corrected indoor shadow rendering.  This is not a perfect fix, but about 95%.

** UPDATE 8-20-2013 Outdoor Shadows fully fixed: Latest files are v6
1. Fixed issue with angle dependent shadows and
2. Shadows from character view.
Only the bit of flickering remains in the odd place.

** UPDATE 8-19-2013 Shadows fixed: Latest files are v5
All outdoor shadows have been fixed, though there are a few anomalies remaining that I don't know how to fix.  These are minor, and the game benefits from the fix overall.  Issues are:
1. Some outdoor levels use a shader such that the fix stops working at certain angles from the light source.  The angle of affect is small, so most of the time you won't see it, and it can be reduced with a higher convergence setting anyway.
2. Shadows are rendered using different shaders when the camera is 'inside the character', and in some cases certain terrain shadows don't render.  They don't even render in 2D.
3. One level I have encountered shadows that 'flicker'.  This level uses the same shader as the one that has the angle dependence.  Again it's not too noticeable/annoying.

** UPDATE 7-31-2013: Latest files are "v4"
1. Fixed dynamic reflections in Sentinel Island
2. Corrected an error where I reintroduced the disabled shader with no dcl_position in it.

** UPDATE 7-30-2013: Files are "v2"
1. Fixed water inside places (caves, dungeons etc)
2. Fixed Forcefield in Orobas Fjord

Resident Evil 6 - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
1. All shadows fixed.
2. Water reflection/refraction
3. Smoke/Fog halo
4. Disabled a minor lighting effect
5. Disabled the blanking that happens when pressing 'Pause' so you can still see the scene

READ THIS FIRST
Lots of people are reporting issues with either flickery/twitchy shadows, or lighting rendering double.
Go into the following file:
c:\Users\[username]\Documents\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL 6\config.ini

and set these lines:

SLI=ON
Stereo=ON

Thanks to Ð’адим Д for spotting this :-)  I had these set already (for some reason) which may explain why I did not see the same problems everyone else did.

I believe the SLI line is necessary even if you don't have SLI, but you can try ON and OFF to get it to work.
There will still be some flickering in Prelude level though.

Updates
UPDATE: 12/16/13 Remove v6, this only seemed to work for me.
UPDATE: 11/02/13 Latest version is v5.3.  Disabled hotkey, was not working reliably with release dll...  Added extra settings for water for for different resolutions.  Fixes bloom.
UPDATE: 11/01/13 Fixed all lights and shadows. Latest version is v5.
UPDATE: 7/29/13 Changed DLL version to avoid some crashing in Leon Chapter.
UPDATE: 7/23/13 Fixed edge refraction issue on water after correcting reflections.  Re-download to be sure you have the latest files.

Known Issues
- Spotlight lighting is a bit off, looks clipped from a distance.  I now know the cause, but need to work out a solution.
- Some ground reflections are not quite right (especially in the prelude level)
- Flickering in Prelude level

Lego Marvel Superheroes - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Update
The developer has miraculously fixed their initial faux pas and 3D now works in Lego Marvel Superheroes out the box!  Whereas this is great news - and Kudos to the devs for addressing this - the convergence is still (a) locked (b) crazy high, especially for some cut scenes which are un-viewable.  I have provided an update to my fix which unlocks convergence, but which also still requires my original fix (convergence cannot be unlocked and use the developers own renderer).  So the choice is there if you want a game with unlocked convergence and some remaining visual anomalies (because there are a couple in my fix for sure), of have the games' own renderer but have to turn depth right down (because this affects convergence as well) to tolerate it.  I guess it's always good to have choices :-)

Fixed - Latest is v8
- All the double imaging and haloing
- Shadows
- Lights
- Water

Adds:
- Dynamic convergence (provided by eqzitara).

Acknowledgements
eqzitara for his settings for dynamically changing convergence in cut scenes.

NOTES
- TURN OFF BLOOM IN THE MENU.

Outstanding/Known Issues:
To be done:
- Fix hud so its all at same depth
- The targeting reticule is at screen depth, if I can I might see if that can be made dynamic.
- The cut scene before the submarine level renders water incorrectly (haloing).  I have not tracked down the shaders responsible because the game immediately crashes if I try and step through shaders in this particular cut-scene.  I implemented a bulk fix to several 10s of Vertex shaders to address water rendering issues which fixed everything I have seen to date except that one cut-scene...

**UPDATE v8: More water and minor special effect fixes as I found them playing through the game.

**UPDATE v7: Changed unlocker approach to avoid having to edit the game exe, but retaining the ability to use presets and autoconvergence.

**UPDATE v6 - Fixed more shadows; water; disabled some spotlights; changed unlocker approach to re-enable hot keys and autoconvergence
**UPDATE v5 - convergence unlocker added after devs actually fixed the game :-).
**UPDATE v4 - fixed indoor shadows; water.
**UPDATE v3 - implemented eqzitara's dynamic convergence settings.
**UPDATE v2 - fixed more outdoor shadows in opening sequence and cut scenes

I put this on Nvidia forums a couple of months ago and had second thoughts since it looks like they are still updating it and it seemed unfair to people who don't frequent the forums and missed it. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing

Fixed: Broken Effects/ Katarina.

Decided to give a crack at it since Helix made a 64bit version of his wrapper. I'm kind of surprised game isn't really talked about it. Its pretty on par with Torchlight 2 imo [might be the terrible name.]

Recommended Settings
-Take off 3D glasses. Adjust convergence till the character you are playing as appears 2D with glasses off. Put glasses back on and tweak.
-Turn off Floating Point Information [damage]/ Item Highlight [This is kind of iffy. Will make game amazing in 3D but you have to pay attention to loot drops]

Divinity Dragon Commander: 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

** Update 10/15/2013: Updated the installer.

Fixed
- 2D Shadows
- Lights (specular and diffuse)
- Skybox and sunlight
- 2D Fog
- Water reflections

Adds:
- Dynamic cross-hair
- Presets:
-- "L" toggles between two convergence settings (2 and 140) useful for the ship scenes, flying around etc
-- "J" toggles to a high convergence setting for real time battle overhead view
-- "K" toggles dynamic crosshair on and off

Notes:
- Cross-hair: this is dynamic but also a bit 'empirical' since the depth map I used was not a 'scene depth map' and did not change depth when moving about over the maps. It works well for the two "L" key convergence presets, but not for the high convergence "J" preset. I could fix this but in this particular view the reticule is just not that useful.

- HUD: I made no changes to the HUD specifically, since I was unable to separate textures from the crosshair, hence I provide the ability to toggle the crosshair off "K". I do also use a bounding box around the cross hair so any anomalies are minimal.

Known Issues:
- I noticed late in the day that the Skirmish map "Golem Caves" has some lighting issue - as you fly towards the robot statue things they suddenly become a uniform yellow kind of colour.  This may also happen in other levels, but I did not see it.  I know where to look to solve this and will do so in time.  Please put a comment in the blog if you see anything else.

Acknowledgements
Thanks to eqzitara for (a) identifying the original installation issue (b) spending significant time subsequently to help me test the installation solution.
Thanks to PirateguyBrush for feedback on the installation, leading to the updated installer.

Summary
Real Time Strategy meets Dragons.  I've not yet played it that much, but it does look nice and runs relatively well, though on Ultra settings it gives my 2x GTX 570 SLI a beating down to about 40 FPS.  I did notice that the SLI did not work in 2D mode, though both cards were definitely working in 3D mode.  When I manualy added the game to the Control Panel 3D Settings tab to make some adjustments to AA and AF I noticed an improved performance in game.

Installation
Installation of this fix is a bit more involved than normal, since the game generates shaders with different crc's depending on where the game is installed.  So I provide an "installer" to build the correct shaders and DX9Settings file on the fly.  I have tested this and it has worked on several test installations, but the script is pretty basic with no error handling (at this point) - please ping me if you have problems.

I provide three batch scripts to make this relatively easy.  The installation is in two steps:
1. Run the game once in debug mode to generate your version of the games shader dump.
2. Run main install script to generate your fixed shaders.  When you start the game next it will be in release mode and should be fixed.

Steps:

1. Extract this zip file to the games exe directory.  In my case this is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Dragon Commader\Shipping.
2. This will install into a subdirectory called HelixModInstall.

3. In the directory HelixModInstall open up the following 3 files in notepad or whatever you use:
- CopyDebugFiles.bat
- RemoveDebugFiles.bat
- DDC_3DFix.ini
4. You will see that these all reference files and directories in a Steam directory that has been installed on drive D:\Steam\SteamApps...etc.
5. EDIT AND CHANGE all these links to point to wherever your installation is.  Then SAVE all three.
6. If your installation is the same as this default, then leave them as is.

7. Go back into the HelixModInstall subdirectory and double click the batch file "CopyDebugFiles.bat"
8. This will copy a debug dll and a basic DX9Settings.ini file to the games exe directory.
9. Start the game.  You should see red text at the top (that's the debugger dll).  Select Single Player -> Skirmish, and pick the first map in the list.  Start the map.  Have a look at how bad things are: sky, fog, shadows, water reflections, 2D cross hair.
10. Quit out of the game.  Check that a subdirectory called "dumps" has been created.
11. Go back into the HelixModInstall subdirectory and double click the "Remove DebugFiles.bat" batch file, to remove the temporary debug files.

12. Now the main fix: double click the file "ShaderReplaceV2.vbs".  Wait about 10s until a file called "DDC_3DFix_LOG.txt" appears and a dialog box pops up.  This file will summarise the shaders that were updated by showing the mapping from my CRCs to your CRCs.
13. If there were no errors, you should be able to start the game.

If you have errors, post a note in the blog comments below, I have watch on this game and will pick it up quickly.

Defense Grid The Awakening - 3D Vision Fix

3D Vision Fix by mike_ar69

Fixed
- Lights, Fog, Smoke, Explosion haloing

Adds:
- Presets:
-- "0" and "9" toggles between two convergence settings

Before:

After:

Summary:
Game looks pretty good out the box, but the image doubling/haloing with smoke, fog, fire and pretty much all of the special effects bugged me a lot.  So I fixed it.  Fortunately shadows work perfectly already.   I have not messed with the hud, I don't think it needs it, the crosshair/mouse thingy is already 3D and that's all that is needed in this game - its nice and simple and really quite addictive.

Performance
This game runs like a breeze.  Tested on i5-3570 and GTX 770, never dropped below 60FPS ever, at 1080p and max seetings (there are not many config options actually).

Installation
1. Unzip this file https://s3.amazonaws.com/Mike_Ar69/DefenseGridAwakening_Helixmod_mike_ar69_v1.zip into the top level game directory (in my case D:\Steam\steamapps\common\DefenseGridTheAwakening).

FIFA 14

FIFA 14

I put something together with demo because I really didnt like how little convergence it offered. Was practically 2D with how flat it was. Even though it was convergence locked, the problem was the alternate views would have high convergence if you messed with it so I needed to do seperate settings[automatically] based on scene. Works pretty well besides when ball goes out of bounds. Anywho, if your interested you can check out demo on origin.

It is not recommended to play this online with this method. Doing this will be at your own risk.

Requires Notepad++. Download link
Install Notepad++
BACKUP FIFA14.EXE IN A DIFFERENT FOLDER
Open Notepad++. Open Fifa14.exe with notepad++
Click search - find in file
nvapi.dll
[There are two]
Replace with nvbpi.dll
save.
This is to bypass the game's convergence lock.

To change default in-game depth/convergence. Click F3 then adjust, save with F7
To change default altenate views depth/convergence. Click F4 then adjust, save with F7
OPTIONAL Click F5 then adjust, save with F7 [Not automatic]
You might have to relaunch game once for new settings to save.

SHADEROVERRIDE [Must turn off origin in-game]

If you want to use the fix with origin in-game or other DX9 hook software download this version and unpack. Launch  "HeliXmodLauncher.exe" and run the game after. If playing demo version open dx9settings.ini and rename fifa14.exe -> fifa14demo.exe
